Located just a 5-minute walk from Happo One Ski Resort, Hakuba Alpine Hotel features simple rooms and outdoor hot spring baths. It is just a 5-minute drive from JR Hakuba Train Station. This hotel is much better than the photos shown in booking.com, especially the onsen, the photos shown in booking.com needed to be updated, to show the nice and clean onsen. The dinner and breakfast provided by the hotel, is the best Japanese meals my family ever had, It's very delicious and fresh, we enjoyed and finished everything in our plates. The onsen is not big but very nice, it has 2 onsen - one outdoor and one indoor, both are very warm and fantastic feel, especially after ski.

From the moment we were picked up to the moment we got the bus back the hotel service was exceptional. We took the breakfast and dinner option and every day was the most comfortable experience. We were in Hakuba for skiing. There was a rental place a 5 min walk away which we were able to charge to our room (at the end of the trip they returned the gear for us) and every day when we went to ski they prepared our gear by the door for us on the way out and took us with our gear to Happo. At the end of the day they came to get us after a quick call and upon our arrival our shoes were waiting at the door for us to change into. The staff went over and above to help us with whatever we needed. Although it wasn't our first trip to Hakuba and we pretty much only went there for skiing this time, they gave us guides on what we could do in the area. They were kind and understanding, and especially sweet to our 4 y/o daughter. The included food was really good, including the kids options, and I was pleasantly surprised every evening. The room had this cozy random vibe to it with interesting furnishings and also an amazing jacuzzi in it with a view of the snow falling onto the trees outside I would highly recommend staying here - we had an amazing time.

Located in Otari and with Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area reachable within 1.2 km, SKI INN HAKUBA provides a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and ski-to-door access. The staff gave us an upgrade due to off-season, we loved our room which was more of a small apartment with plenty of space, smart-TV and small kitchen. Super comfortable bed and the view from the room overlooking mountain was great. Friendly staff, very helpful, offered to drive us to the busstation on our last day and was informative about skiing and everything. Very convenient just off the slopes. Recommend 10/10. Lovely restaurants in the town as well.

Situated in Hakuba, 10 km from Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area, House of Finn Juhl Hakuba features accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking and a bar. The staff at House of Finn Juhl were amazing! I booked these rooms for my family trip, Yuka helped me plan dinners for our large group before we arrived and then upon arrival was even more amazing. The rooms were spacious and the furniture was beautiful. They helped arrange our Takyubin to the next location for our luggage. They provided amazing snacks and great breakfasts, it was wonderful!

Set in Hakuba, within 9.1 km of Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area and 46 km of Nagano Station, 白馬パウダーマウンテン offers accommodation with ski-to-door access and as well as free private parking for guests who drive. Location literally couldn't be better, beautiful spacious well appointed modern apartment. Friendly and helpful owners with great communication. Truly a pleasure to stay here.

We traveled as a family of four with our two adult children and were greeted most warmly by the host Takumi and his wife with personalized service, delicious cake and drink. Our rooms were very comfortable clean and spacious. We couldn’t believe how easy our host made it to rent skis and ski gear in the comfort and privacy of his own basement, plus private shuttle service to and from the ski base. Easiest ever! And the free snacks and drinks including a very nice whiskey selection were amazing. They are the nicest family who will try to accommodate your every wish. Love this place and would go back any time! Highly recommend. Five stars and more!!!

Located in Otari and with Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area reachable within 2.3 km, 椛 Momiji features ski-to-door access, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a garden. From picking us up from our train to helping us with dinner bookings and ski rentals, Julian, Tomoko, and staff were all exceptionally helpful and friendly. A big breakfast was the perfect way to start the day, with the baths a great way to unwind after a day on the slopes. Easily accessible to 2 great resort areas just out the door. We ate dinner there nearly every night and it was a great way to experience amazing Japanese food.
